Because it’s flu season and Sunday, here’s my chicken soup recipe.

Warning I do not have a picture of this but trust me it’s

  1. Get a nice large crockpot you’re going to have to share this.
  2. You may not like this but get a jar of crushed garlic in any form according to taste.
  3. Get someone or you go to the supermarket frozen solid boneless chicken breasts in a bag —put about six of them in that large crockpot with the garlic. Don’t worry, the frozen will melt.
  4. Four somewhat finely or novice chopped onions. If that’s too much for you, put in three but make sure at least three onions get chopped up and put in there.
  5. Place large bag of baby carrots put it all in there.
  6. Half of a finely chopped green pepper small one.
  7. Half of a red finally chopped red pepper small one.
  8. Side-note, remember all these onions and peppers or vitamin C that will help you.
  9. I don’t know if people up North use this but I have a lot of Spanish influence is here in the FLA, put in two packets of Spanish spicy seasoning.
  10. Do not add noodles until you finish the soup cook the noodles separately. They will get mushy in the crockpot.
  11. OK now that you’ve got all the ingredients in there put two with one box of chicken stock and one large box of organic chicken to scam thing today that they do make sure it’s organic. Do not use bouillon bouillon is salty high in sodium and not good for diabetics with heart conditions. Salt and pepper is OK but only use the kind you crank.
  12. Cook for 3 1/2 hours on high sometimes four hours depending on the crockpot.
  13. The big question is to what kind of noodles to use. I like to use the Jewish Manischewitz type of noodles.
  14. Enjoy this is my family recipe if you don’t like all these vegetables you’re gonna have to eat that because that’s why you’re sick. The general rule around here I never eat anything unless there’s a green vegetable involved.
