Posted in Florida life everyday

Tuesday after Labor Day, I’m wearing white somewhere . I live in Florida and we don’t go by the rules of up tight up North. Oh yeah, we don’t decorate for a fall. It doesn’t get cold here until Thanksgiving.

Reality check people = it doesn’t get cold here until Thanksgiving! When you get your first snow is when we get our first 50° /40degrees F at night.

Reality check people = I own about three sweaters and one light jacket. I have one pair of socks

Okay, I admit it I went and bought Starbucks pumpkin latte creamer just to see what it taste like. I Think it’s overpriced.

There is no way in hell I’m going to waste money on fake fall leaves to put in an apartment that is in the middle of a pandemic and it’s 90° F out well until the middle of October.

I don’t waste money on fall candles either because I don’t wanna burn our apartment down. Smelling that stuff makes me wanna puke. Reality check folks I don’t do what everybody else says I have to do for season we have our own season of fall here in Florida and it usually involves citrus & going to the other side of the state during the citrus harvest. I have a juicer and I usually make juice.

Somewhere after my last college graduation, I just made a promise to myself to make the most of what I have here in FLa . I no longer wish for colours and things that you think that I should have.

It makes you feel any better about all the do you think you should say about the pretty leaves? We could make an accommodation for that and have you clip palm leaves that usually get thrown around in the afternoon thunderstorm.

I’m sorry but I’m a typical Floridian and we don’t do your sweater weather , Mrs Cleaver.

Got that?
